Tourism New Brunswick is offering co-op advertising and research funding for New Brunswick tourism DMOs and RTAs. All co-op advertising will be research driven. There are two streams under this program:
Marketing within Tourism New Brunswick campaigns: participants integrate their marketing efforts within existing Tourism New Brunswick marketing efforts, primarily digital channels like social media marketing, display advertising and search engine advertising. Tourism New Brunswick will develop creative assets for these channels and provide regular updates to the program participant. This stream is primarily intended for tourism operators and DMOs/RTAs with limited in-house marketing expertise and resources.
Supporting Operator or DMO/RTA campaigns: participants use funding from Tourism New Brunswick to complement their own resources for their own marketing campaign, including digital marketing and experiential marketing. This stream is intended for operators and destinations with sufficient marketing expertise to develop and implement successful marketing programs.
The minimum investment made by a tourism operator or DMO/RTA under either stream is $7,500 plus up to 15 percent for a media buying fee. This amount will be matched by Tourism New Brunswick for a total of $16,500 as a minimum marketing investment.
