RAINBOW REGISTERED LGBT+-FRIENDLY ACCREDITATION PROGRAM

New Brunswick Tourism, Heritage and Culture is excited to announce its new partnership with Canada’s LGBT+ Chamber of Commerce. Together, we are launching the Rainbow Registered LGBT+ Friendly Accreditation Program – with the goal of making New Brunswick a truly inclusive tourism destination.

We want our welcoming nature to lead headline news:
“New Brunswick welcomes LGBT+ travellers!”

WHAT’S IN IT FOR YOU?

The Rainbow Registered accreditation and its easily recognizable rainbow trademark will allow tourism and hospitality businesses across New Brunswick to demonstrate that they are providing a safe and welcoming environment and inclusive experiences for LGBT+ visitors/guests and employees. It’s an affordable way to do a spot check on where your business or organization is, and where it can improve.

Having LGBT+-friendly policies in your company is the right thing to do AND it’s also good for business.

LGBT+ DIVERSITY & INCLUSION TRAINING OPPORTUNITIES
AND RAINBOW REGISTERED ACCREDITATION ARE FREE!

With funding support from Atlantic Canada Opportunities Agency (ACOA), New Brunswick Tourism, Heritage and Culture will be coordinating FREE LGBT+ diversity & inclusion training opportunities, workshops to increase awareness in the tourism industry, as well as assisting interested businesses in the pursuance of their Rainbow Registered accreditation, the national standard for LGBT+ safe spaces. The accreditation is valued between $299 to $799, depending on the size of your business. New Brunswick businesses and organizations of all sizes can engage in the process.

LET’S GET STARTED!

Help establish New Brunswick as a safe and welcoming destination for LGBT+ Tourism. Here’s how:

STEP 1: LEARN about LGBT+ inclusion and how to effectively understand, value, and serve LGBT+ customers and employees. Click on the link to register for this FREE TRAINING WORKSHOP:

Creekside RnR Glamping, Cocagne, New Brunswick

At Creekside RnR, we strive to excel and offer an unforgettable experience to anyone and everyone who walks through our doors. As your hosts, we provide a safe space where everyone is welcome and accepted. Long after experiencing this stress-free getaway in nature, it is our hope that our guests will enjoy the residual effects — feeling relaxed and rejuvenated. Becoming Rainbow Registered provided us the opportunity to have our policies evaluated and solidified through a third-party accreditation. It gave us confidence and peace of mind to know that we are being inclusive to members of the LGBTQ+ community, whether it be as employees or guests, at all levels at our resort. This is very exciting for us.
